Well, this is a 2023 so hopefully it's thinner. We shall see soon. Thanks for your information
And people criticise Kato's calligraphic skills.Seems more like the beefy migaki I got from K&S in Dec 2022. Similar to their pics, mine didn't have nearly the distal taper and was thicker BTE than the 2023 KU.

Dang that's really good, but the 225 was the thin one right? The 225 worked out to $531. Not sure on the others, wasn't really browsing...

Also is there such thing as a florescent wa handle? like glow in the dark?
It's yo, but glowy
Pie must be getting desperate and throwing out all the gimmicks. Next they'll incorporate a sound synth. Says "ouch" every time it hits the board or "nice cut". Seems like the sort of thing for sale on AlibabaHow long until they have blinking LEDs whenever they hit the board?

Ready for round #2 @KAMON Knives?KKF massdrop yo...
A guy once presented me with the idea of using small tritium tubes (which glow in the dark (usually used on watch dials (look into it if you don't know what I'm talking about))), and insert them in the tiny screw holes (), of a handle made out of a translucent material. I thought something like PC30GF/ghost jade g10.Ready for round #2 @KAMON Knives?

I found the idea was interesting actually, but seems one needs special permission over here in Austria/EU to use the tritium. Some boring excuse about radiation and hazards .
We'll see. Maybe forging a blade from depleted uranium is the easier route.

I can't speak for others, but I would give a knife like that a glowing review.
It might be possible to do it with photophorescent materials? Those basically store light and emit it slowly. So you'd have to store them in the light, can't put it in a drawer for it to work.A guy once presented me with the idea of using small tritium tubes (which glow in the dark (usually used on watch dials (look into it if you don't know what I'm talking about))), and insert them in the tiny screw holes (), of a handle made out of a translucent material. One that makes a perfect instant crust on whatever you're cutting. The Maillard Maestro.I think the dream is actually a suji lightsaber... where you can push a button and the blade lights up with sound.
