Those are looking sweet I might be in the market for one for my new Masakage Yuki 240 Whats up with the line?

The branding really makes it, very nice work.

Thanks everyone! I employed some new techniques on this one, and I'm thrilled with how it turned out. Here's a cool pic I meant to post earlier. Kinda like, "follow the yellow brick road".

It's hard to gauge, right now. I'm getting all caught up, and I've put a new organization method in place that's really making a difference. MAAAYBBE two and a half months... But, I have a big order coming up soonish.

Here's my latest. It's fresh off the sanding block. Almost like I knew Favre...err, I mean Marko was coming back to sayas and I needed to put out something ridiculous.

Thoughts are welcomed, as always!

Wow is that a looker...nice job love the contrasting wood colors.

I have to bow out of the 2nd running for the McLean/Harner parers...as I just got a Damascus Del Ealy parer...I am going to need some sayas for that as well as a gyuto....what is the list looking like for Saya work?

Well I guess you could just make a rectangle out of that wood and it would look nice, geez. Sexy stuff, what is it?

Walnut, on walnut. This beautiful wood was provided by Mark Farley. It's some beautiful walnut! One more to go, and the twins will be off to Australia.

Lemme know whatcha think!

Australia? But I did not order one :laughat:

These are for a couple very patient Australians. Thanks for sitting back and letting it happen guys. I just wasn't happy with the white oak for these. Walnut, sourced from Mark Farley. Thanks again, Mark!

Very nice. Love that Walnut. I'll have to see if I have any extra exotic wood scraps I can send you with the mini-lathe :)

They look great, Tom! Always a treat reading up on your sub forum!

Just got this all done. Rosewood to match. :)

Very nice, Tom! The saya really complements the contours and looks of the handle. Well done!

Thanks guys. This was a bit of a tough one, or some reason. I'm pleased with the result, and opted to go without my logo on it. It didn't seem right on this one, with the contouring. Here's an artsy fartsy pic:

This shows the contouring a lot better.

Oh, in case you've forgotten - I still make sayas. :)

This one is going to the guy who spent big dough on a saya, at the Badger and Blade Sue Moore Memorial Auction. I hope you like it. And, yes...another ZKramer!
