    Keeping parts flat? Wa handle making question

    Table saw with a cross cut sled, and material clamped to sled so you can still have five fingers. Then sand flat with 220 on reference plate using figure 8 motion. If your sanding is sloppy, you'll get gaps. If you drill crooked holes you'll get gaps. If you can't cut square you get gaps...

    Pants, shoes

    Hey guys. I see this lingo getting tossed around a lot and sometimes used interchangeably for saya and handle, but I want to give y'all an opportunity to set it strait. I say pants are the saya, shoes are handle, but what do you think? Why? What other knife specific slang do you love?
