CPM M4 for a kitchen knife

Speaking of @samuraistuart... this little M4 hunter has ended up being one of my wife’s favorite kitchen knives. It’s so light, and the handle is unusually thin which she likes. The blade is unusually thin, which I like! M4 has proven to be pretty wife-proof, which is a testament to...

    New Mazaki 270mm gyuto

Nice review. I haven’t shopped 270mm blades. That seems like a beast of a blade with over 4.5mm of spine at the heel. Appears to be a nice cutting knife though with the grind and taper.

Folding Knife Made from Japanese Steel?

The Spyderco Super Blue Calypso Jr is dropping now. It’s a sprint run so it won’t be around long. Solid SB...no cladding on this one. Hap40 Spyderco’s are some of my favorite EDC folders, especially the Stretch and Delica Wharnie.

    Hello from Fl

Hi, I stumbled on this little corner of the interweb while researching my next kitchen knife purchase for my wife. Of course it cost me a gyoto as well! I was impressed by the passion for kitchen cutlery here. You folks may be more nutty and geeked out than “regular” knife nuts.;) I’m a...
