Another huge fan of the Boardsmith here. I have an 18 x 24 mahogany board that Dave made for me several years ago before he stopped using mahogany. It's been an absolutely outstanding board, and doesn't look any different now than the day I got it in the mail. Probably going to be selling it...

It seems they've been putting small amounts of different Shigs up lately, but only one or two types at a time. I got a kitaeji deba from them last week, and i saw they had kasumi debas listed a couple weeks before that, but it definitely seems like there's no rhyme or reason to when or what...

Yeah, it now says "out of stock" on the listing. When I posted that, it said "only a few left", so I guess they got sold. Oh well, at least it saved me from going back and buying a knife that was 30mm shorter than I really wanted. :lol2:

Looks like they added a couple 210mm kitaeji gyutos too. 210 is a little smaller than I personally like, but I'm struggling not to snatch one of those up. :bigeek:

That's great news! I wasn't sure if they were a one-off or not since it seems like they were a special/custom order. I'll definitely be in for one when they come in. I'd be even more excited if you got a 300mm one. :D
