    Great work on the Forgie, but I was looking at the KS. Wanting to thin mine without losing the excellent grind has had me hesitating, even though I want it thinner BTE. Mainly want to maintain some food release.

    My K&S Tanaka Ginsan also arrived sharp. Used it for a week or two and did a qick, light sharpen on a Shapton pro 2000 and finished on an Aizu and it was ridiculously sharp!
