Resin ferrule

Semi-stainless because the core doesn't react with onion but a faint patina forms on the cladding

Feels like SLD, quite a bit harder than kaeru. Definitely a hard steel. A tiny bit softer than gihei forged hap40. Feels coarse and carbidey but deburred cleaaaannn. Really easy to deburr, even compared to some carbons. Doesn't grab hair well, so it's one of those steels that prioritizes edge retention. Profile has lots of belly. Has spray blasted lamination line, but I'm pretty sure this is a clad knife.

Cuts well with good release. Pretty darn symmetrical. Extremely light concave bevels. Will seal handle gap with putty before shipping.
