Final (hopefully) part of the trilogy — I’ve tried to price these to move.

Sale price includes PP G&S fees. For buyers interested in fee-free payment methods, PM and we can discuss.

Either way, fully insured/tracked CONUS shipping is included. Not sure if it makes sense to ship such inexpensive knives internationally.

Mainly looking to sell, but would be quite interested in trading/buying if you have a Migoto 240 in ginsan or Gesshin Heiji 210 suji in semi-stainless.

Sukenari 225 AS gyuto - $195 SOLD

Photos/video
Steel: Stainless clad aogami super
Handle: Taihei yakusugi cedar and black horn
Edge length x heel height / weight: 215mm x 47mm / 149g
Spine at handle, heel, midpoint, 1cm from tip: 2.1, 2.1, 2.0, 0.6
Notes: Used but good condition. Sharpened/thinned/refinished by previous owner (ModRQC). Light scratches on blade as shown. Includes box. Good option for a high performing, low maintenance pro knife.

Heiji 210 carbon sujihiki - $160 SOLD

Photos/video
Steel: Soft iron clad Swedish carbon
Handle: JKI burnt chestnut and black horn
Edge length x heel height / weight: 216mm x 35mm / 134g
Spine at handle, heel, midpoint, 1cm from tip: 3.5, 2.8, 1.9, 0.9
Notes: Purchased directly from Heiji and sent out for the JKI spa treatment. Sold and then bought back because I enjoy this form factor so much. Unsharpened since JKI worked on it. Includes box. Cheap way to try out Heiji/Shigefusa's Iwasaki carbon.

Note that the cladding line runs very close to the cutting edge in a couple of places. You can see that it's close, but not quite at the apex in the macro photo here. Neither I, False_Cast, nor JKI detected any issues in use/sharpening, but a $350 knife is priced accordingly because of this. Also note the strange blemish at the top edge of the horn ferrule (I tried to work it out with 1500-12000 Micro Mesh, which smoothed the surface but didn't correct the color) and some wear on the handle as shown.

Konosuke 140 GS+ ko-sabaki - $160 SOLD

Photos/video
Steel: Stainless clad SLD
Handle: Khii laurel mono
Edge length x heel height / weight: 140mm x 26mm / 84g
Spine at handle, heel, midpoint, 1cm from tip: 1.9, 1.7, 1.5, 0.5
Notes: Barely used for a few test cuts (no bone contact). Includes box and saya. Really cool Bernal collab – it's billed as a butchering knife, but is thin and keen enough to be a terrific petty. Bought from here. Wouldn't mind keeping this one.

M Hinoura 210 AS k-tip gyuto - $150 SOLD

Photos/video
Steel: Stainless clad aogami super
Handle: Rosewood and oak ferrule
Edge length x heel height / weight: 212 x 49 / 217g
Spine at handle, heel, midpoint, 1cm from tip: 4.15, 3.05, 1.71, 0.92
Notes: First owner, purchased for ~$300 from Yagi Hana. Factory edge (unsharpened/unstropped). Lightly used and Flitzed the patina. Tipped and priced accordingly - see close up photos/video (kitchen sink mishap 😭). Includes box.

Kyohei Shindo 210 B2 gyuto - $125 SOLD

Photos/video
Steel: Iron clad aogami 2
Handle: Oak mono
Edge length x heel height / weight: 216 x 49 / 168g
Spine at handle, heel, midpoint, 1cm from tip: 4.3, 4.4, 1.7, 0.5
Notes: First owner, purchased for $120 + shipping from Zahocho. Factory edge (unsharpened/unstropped). Lightly used and Flitzed the patina. Includes box.

MAC Superior 270 bread knife - $60 SOLD

Photos/video
Steel: Undisclosed stainless
Handle: Pakka wood western
Edge length x heel height / weight: 271mm x 39mm / 181g
Notes: First owner, purchased for $90 from CKTG. Excellent condition. Factory edge (unsharpened/unstropped). Does not include box, but will include felt-lined edge protector as shown.

Ashi 150 AEB-L petty - $50 SOLD

Photos/video
Steel: AEB-L
Handle: Pakka wood western
Edge length x heel height / weight: 149mm x 26mm / 69g
Notes: First owner, purchased a long time ago from JKI. Well used and sharpened. Does not include box, but will include felt-lined edge protector as shown.

Mystery (秀綱) 210 yanagiba (refcast fix-up) - $50 SOLD

Photos/video
Steel: Iron clad unknown carbon
Handle: Pakka wood western
Edge length x heel height / weight: 200mm x 31mm / 116g
Spine at handle, heel, midpoint, 1cm from tip: 2.95, 2.95, 2.87, 1.01
Notes: Fixed up and straightened by the great refcast. Purchased from him privately for $50 (in a pack with another knife). Unsharpened by me. Lightly used and Flitzed the patina. Includes box. Refcast wrote about the knife: “Steel and iron are great and abradable, not the hardest but super enjoyable and responsive on stones. Doesn't refine quite as fast or far as more handmade stuff but still quite good.”

Just the Ashi petty and yanagiba remaining. They are so inexpensive that I’d prefer to ship them out in one package. I’ll sell both for $80 total shipped/insured.
