Good Saturday Everyone,
Hot off the bench... This gyuto is a little beefier at the spine than I intended, but still quite thin at the edge. Interestingly when I was finishing the handle the open grain in the ebony became filled with little pieces of brass, and while I found it to be a detraction initially, I've come to appreciate the nuance. The crack that appears on the right side was filled with CA glue and then finished over as with the rest of the handle, and should remain stable. The tang is sitting epoxied into a dowel, that is in turn epoxied to the handle, and all of the spacers are epoxied, as well as the pin.
$230 $210 U.S shipped with insurance in North America, for Europe and Australia I will cover the first $25 U.S of shipping.
Have a good weekend.
