$65 shipped
Will go down in price until it sells
3 piece strop
334 g
Cordovan is 63mm wide x 590mm long x 2.1-5.3mm (thickest at base, thinnest and finest grain in middle)
Suede is 4.6mm in middle, 4.4mm at base. Same length and width as cordovan
Linen is 3.6mm in middle, same width, 560mm long (so 3cm shorter)
Fair condition, no deep cuts to cordovan. But the suede has flaking wear. One cut on linen, and has loose piling. I conditioned it with sapphir, but maybe there's a little wax on the cordovan that needs to be removed. . . .never got the draw or results exactly how I wanted, with any strop really. Base of cordovan is not hardened, unlike some old strops. I have another strop, too. I think i like stones better. Maybe a diamond emulsion might be better, haven't tried one yet. I have to use a microbevel or higher angle when stropping for it to hit the edge . . . Not sure I like stropped edges this was, for their feel on my face. I recall not liking iwasaki razors edges new but damn were they the sharpest things ever. They were diamond paste stropped
