Never thought I’d sell this one, one of my most special pieces, but here we are. Full kasumi polished (by Jonas) wrought clad. I’m neither a patina expert nor a polish one, far from it, but this looks to me like a patina and polish lover’s dream. Tried to include some more detailed photos of the cladding to demonstrate that. Core is 1.2419.05 taken to HRC 64+. Never sharpened, only light home use but used it on some hot proteins to jump start the
blue patina you see. Handle is handmade birch bark, which ends up feeling grippy like thin leather. Nothing you would ever expect from bark, but probably my favorite handle material I’ve ever encountered. Hidden tang, which is the best of both wa and yo worlds imho - strength of full tang without risk of proud rivets etc…that normally accompanies full tang with bolsters.

245x52, 234g

Paid $1,100 to my door, let’s try $850 -> $690 CONUS.
