Of the many knives i've acquired over the past year, my Kipp is my most reached for, Jules really makes a great knife. I recently received a Workpony to join my Laserpony, and it turns out the 2 are very similar in specs and feel. I would like to offer one of them up for trade. Im looking to trade for a few makers i've been eager to try but have not yet been able to. Mainly Kamon, Yanick, or the9 (willing to consider other western makers as well). Looking for gyuto roughly 230-240 in size. Since they feel similar in my hand, i'm willing to trade either one for the right knife (but not both, have to keep one in my arsenal). I'm in no rush to let one of these go, but if you have something you'd like to offer let me know! Trade Value ~ 600 USD.
Specs:
LaserPony (top):
52100, 234x56, 203g, 4mm spine with very nice distal taper
used with 5-6 times, never sharpened. Has developed a beautiful blue patina.
WP (bottom):
52100, 245x55, 207g, 4mm spine with very nice distal taper
used once to test out on a few veggies, never sharpened.
Will try and post some more photos of each.
