Happy friday! Was replacing the handle on my Mizuno Blue #2 gyuto and saw this G stamped on the tang. Wondering if anyone knows what's up with that?
There was also some cool KU texture on the other side of the tang. Too bad they don't offer something with a rustic finish!
Handle was from @JoBone reject sale a while back - little gap in the bottom gold spacer. I only had to shape, finish the tang opening, and stain. Was pretty nice to only do half the work
