Catch and release.

I just got this stone yesterday and upon first trial I realized instantly that it is too hard for my taste.

This is a really hard specimen of Aizu that is best used after making slurry with which it is getting quite fast and generates great contrast but is on the coarser end around 2-3k.

When it’s freshly lapped it can be used without slurry as well, being rather fine (around 3-4k) and finishing with less pronounced contrast.

Not much more to tell about it as I haven’t used it after testing.

Measurements are 220x65x57. There are three sides lapped flat and ready for use thus I wasn’t planning to seal it so the buyer can pick a side but I will of course do it upon request.

I would like to get back what I have in it so I’m asking 165€ (200$) including shipping in Europe, for international I pay the first 15$ of shipping.

For more pictures or information feel free to drop me a line.
