Aoto , Iwatani

1. For sale a big hard Aoto that I got from Japan. The stone does not auto slurry very easy, though slurry can easily be made with a hard tomonagura or well used diamond plate. It will easily remove 1k scratches and will leave a very nice contrasted finish on traditional blades. The stone is sealed with cashew lacquer.

The stone measures:

2. Iwatani kiita: soft , around lvl3, can erase 1k scratches, with good slurry. It can be used as a prepolisher for razors. The stone is sealed with cashew lacquer.

Aoto still available. It is a great stone that produces a very nice cutting edge, perfect to follow up a 1k stone and not go higher. Hard Aoto are not that common.
