Are Rubber Cutting Mats Made from TPU?

Hello,

I'm looking for a blade-friendly cutting board and saw mentions of "rubber mats". Can anyone clarify what these are? Are they TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane)?

I think they are made of Polyvinyl Acetate, PVA. Same stuff as wood glue. I know Korin's Hi-Soft ones are. Not sure about Hasegawa.

Does anyone have experience with TPU? I'd like to know if it's knife-friendly and how it compares to PVA mats.
