at the cheap but functional end, Tojiro bread knife. I have one. I like it.

I posted something similar a few months back and it was reccomend I reach out to @Knot Handcrafted for a custom. I ended up going that route and have nothing but positive things to say about Michael and his work. I definitely reccomend you explore that option.

Would you be interested in this bread knife ? I crafted it, it's 27cm long, made of 14c28n stainless steel, with apricot tree wood.
Teeth are made one by one with files.
The profile will perform better on heavy crusts.
