Up for sale is Raquin gyuto in 125sc w burnt oak handle. 52mm tall 230mm length 199 grams. Knife has had Shinogi line raised and professionally thinned by DC cutlery.
Asking $620 shipping included (priority)
Different knife from the last one I put up for sale.

In the summertime in Louisiana it is insanely humid. Yes yes apparently rust spot developed in no time whatsoever. Didn’t notice it when I took the photos but I assure any potential buyer it will be gone shortly.

Out of curiosity, why did you take it to DC? Was it not preforming with the original grind?
 
Yeah I really like pretty much everything about Raquins work. I’m sure the majority of people are happy with them as they come but I wanted to adjust shinogi a little bit and have it thinner behind the edge. Been using it again this past week and I think I’ll keep it for now. Might polish it and remove belt grind satin finish or whatever and relist at some point. But maybe not.
