Adonis Forged Arts is all that remains. Price drop to $1,300 but could consider some trades.
Selling a nice assortment of nice blades. Perhaps a little something for everyone. Specs below, running from largest to smallest blades. All are well cared for, sharp, and great knives. Some have never been sharpened, others lightly. None are thinned, reground, chipped, or similar. Because someone will ask, in terms of trades I'm really looking for a DT Feather Dammy at the top of my list, but would consider a DT Magnacut or dammy pattern I don't have, Bill Burke, or Radar; feel free to put something out there if you think it might fit the bill. All prices are CONUS. Add $50 for Int'l shipping. Payment however you like so long as it's fee free. If you want more than one, happy to bundle and reduce price 10%.
Notes:
1.Devin Thomas - SOLD I am only selling this to fund a "Devin makes me poor" account whereby I buy every blade from him I can. I've got bunches of his blades, love them all. But still looking and saving for the elusive feather damascus. This steel (Niomax) is a great steel Larrin designed and gets less attention then Magnacut, but is really underreported. This is really a full stainless blade that performs above and beyond most standard stainless steel options. Classic DT grind - smooth cutter, convex 50/50. Unsharpened. Definitely doesn't need it. I am original owner. Asking $975, which is just under what I bought it for direct from Hoss. SOLD
2. Adonis - I love this blade for all-around use and will get more from Adonis. This is a forged integral Apex Ultra monosteel. Really tough to forge like this, and just a nice look, IMO. Forged taper, Nice "mid" grind shinogi, which gives is A+ food release and very little sense of getting stuck in dense food. Sharpened on 3k once, otherwise stropped. Nice patina forming. Incredible saya - work of art for sure. I am original owner. $1,500 ($1,925 was my cost from Antoine).
3.Bidinger - SOLD class work from Dan here - perfect fit, finish, look, and grind. AEB-L, sculpted handle. This is one I got from Eating Tools for $925. Has the full tapered tang, down to a whisker and super nice balance point. It's wicked fast in hand. Just a really nice all around shape, grind, and knife. One I've loved to use and am selling only because I got a similar size from him in Magnacut though without the tapered tang and nicer handle. Asking $900. SOLD
4.Joel Black - SOLD this is a classic WH grind. 8mm+ taper out of the handle, down to the forged tip. Kasumi finish, really nicely done. The steel is crispy on the edge. Bites incredibly well and has that scary sharp feel. Simple saya. Classic shape, incredible food release. Acts like a WH in that food flies off it, though some slight cracking in dense food. Zero complaints. I am original owner. Asking what I paid in my direct purchase from Joel, $450. SOLD
4.5. -Troopah, SOLD for sale elsewhere on KKF, $350. Here for size reference and visibility because I still think it's a steal at that price and a looker. SOLD
5.Ashi Ginga 180mm - SOLD little scalpel. Light, thin, fast for prep and smaller tasks. Not much heel, but it is awesome for little tasks, silver skin removal, etc. Classic Ashi grind, stainless steel quality, and overall feel. This is one where I am second owner, and it was originally purchased direct from the Ashi shop in Japan before they stopped doing direct to consumer. Older, I guess? Nice horn handle with Ebony was stock option "back then". Asking $225 for this, though I regret to say I paid a lot more. SOLD
6.Yoshikane hunter - SOLD sweet little old-stock blade. SLD core with stainless damascus cladding. Very comfortable in hand. Has a custom handle and belt-loop leather saya by Cody Paul. Ironwood, brass. Really nice knife. I am second owner, bought it from Elliot. Asking $400. SOLD
7.Teruyasu Fujiwara Denka - SOLD 90mm paring. Legendary for both good and bad reasons. This is a tiny little Denka, but if you like paring you might not find nicer. Even has a small amount of tang taper to compliment the wabi-sabi. Of note, from looking at the grind, it's a short blade and looks even. I've not sharpened it nor used it much but this is a nice example. Asking $300. SOLD
