I took about an inch off of the handle and refinished, it was too long for my block and this moved the balance forward perfectly. Thinned, polished and sharpened. 1.2519 steel takes a great edge and holds it for a long time. This knife is awesome but I am have a customer that is also stone polished from M. Doghouse Forge banno bunka. This one is really cool with a stabilized handle and mammoth tooth bolster. This is in AEB-L with a fantastic heat treat and cuts like a laser

Nordquist designs slicer. This is in W2 with a differential heat treat. 9" x 52mm I picked this one up on the forums as I am huge fan of Nordquist but I really dont use a slice often. This is the only knife I am asking more than I paid as I had a lot of work put into to it. This was fully thinned, sharpened and etched to bring out the hamon action. The handle is rosewood with brass ferule and pin. I am totally ok if this one doesnt sell as I have 2 other Nordquist and a block he made that fits all 3 perfectly.$300.00 $225.00 shipped.
