Handle sizes and dimensions differ. A handle that’s fits one 240 Gyuto may not fit another. A 240 handle for Kurosaki will be about 140mm, but you will want about 145-147mm to fit a Mazaki.

Keeping that in mind, a Yanagi handle is often slimmer than a gyuto handle. Additionally, it may be longer as yanagis tend to have longer tangs.

Really the only way to know is to measure and try.

Thanks man, yeah I’ve had to take some metal off of some Sanjo tangs in order to fit a few knives, and have had to take a file to the inside of a couple handles to make extra space
