Hi, I have been active in the german Kochmalscharf kitchen knife forum for about six years, now I decided to also join the english speaking kitchen knife forum. I am mostly interested in old european carbon steel kitchen knives and I have quite a few of them, probably I'll share pics in the "historical finds" section. I'm also quite into sharpening and have a selection of natural stones, including some quite obscure ones. Besides freehand sharpening I also use a Bogdan Robust sharpening system on a regular basis. Of course I really like cooking and the sourcing of ingredients, i do some gardening and hunting. Fermentation and baking with sourdough are other topics I'm interested in.
