Hi everyone. Been lurking here for a bit, watching some videos, and other misc. blogs and such trying to slowly learn about knives. I've only got a few K sabatiers passed on to me from my uncle, and some random crap knives I've picked up from places that shall not be named, so I've got a long way to go. I'm a casual home cook, but I find the subject interesting, so I look forward to learning a lot from all of you. That being said, I've got a lot of questions coming your way! Thanks.

Where are you from? (Edit: Just realized you told us in the title- sorry). Which knives interest you? Do you sharpen (yet)?

Many of us are home cooks. Didn't stop us buying many more knives than we'll ever need :D
