I'm an avid chef and I also collect Nihonto and Japanese knives - it's amazing to see some of the areas that produced amazing swords in the 17th century (and before) still have maintained their wonderful craftsmanship and unique characteristics through the knives made today. There is a lot to learn on this forum, some real specialist knowledge on here, and it's nice to meet everyone.
