Long time listener, first time caller. I'm a home cook who has grown to appreciate hand made tools and knives over the last few years. I was introduced to the world of Japanese knives thanks to reddit and then my mind exploded when I discovered KKF. I've collected a few pieces of the usual suspects; kurosaki, shibata, konosuke, nigara hamono, CCK and thanks to all you enablers I dove head first down the rabbit hole with some western makers. I've collected pieces from Spare, Willow Forge, Nordquist, Shi.han, Scheepers and Adonis, all which are a joy to use in their own regard. I really enjoy browsing the forums, especially the knife findings, newest knife buys, the blue is my favourite colour patina thread and daily knife pics. I look forward to connecting with you fellow knife nuts.
