Hello from Virginia

I have been a long time lurker but never posted.

My parents owned a restaurant when I was young. Grew up in the restaurant until college. Have been active cook in restaurant and home. I have been passionate about knives since young. I know my heart beats faster when I see knives. I enjoy sharpening knives. I don't collect because I like to think myself as a minimalist but that does not take away my appreciation for knives and hones.
