Hello folks-

GREETINGS!

I recently just aquired a new gyuto but not able to identify the brand ,because the character on the blade is not Kanji but Hiragana I think.

Please let me if you know what brand is that or any information will be greatly appreciated!

Hope everyone have a wonderful and safe holiday weekend!!

Thanks in advance!
Mike

I think they changed their stamp though? This older FB post from the shop uses the same stamp, but scrolling their site it looks like everything is stamped in kanji now, but some retailers still have kana stamps
This item definitely has the same stamp as your knife though

Pretty sure I figured it out. Looks to be made by Yasuragi-kobo
You can google やすらぎ包丁 and go to images and you can find similar knives, some at retailers some on the shops Facebook
Hooray thank you so much for figuring it up buddy!

Actually I was brought that knife from this shop.....lol but did not figure it up they put their store name on the blade.

Thanks again! Really appreciated!!
