Great knife. Bought here on BST, Bevels almost completely smooth. Some scratches you can see in photos, Finish is not perfect but it has a quick chosera 3k which I find to be pretty non reactive, which I like a lot. Edge is thin and cuts real well. Certainly a good working knife, not a drawer queen or anything. In fact I like this knife a lot, if I didn’t have a bunch of KU wide bevels already I’d keep it. Beautiful walnut and horn heart shaped handle. Nice measurements, 53/244/202 grams.

$250 shipped, will entertain trades, yoshikane bunka, random makers, 210 gyutos etc.

A complete bargain. I have a 210 (and am considering this 240) but for anybody else: this is the only gyuto for me to perfectly balance heft and confidence with a laser feel. It’s incredibly thin behind the edge, feels great in the hand, and is also fun for polishing (you can get some banding out of the cladding).
