Originally 225$. Rumored to be forged by Shiro Kamo, this knife feels basically like a Shibata laser that forms patina. I practiced a lot of etching and polishing with this knife but have returned it to a kasumi finish with no etching. There are still vertical factory grind marks on the hagane that I wasn’t able to get out and a small sharpening scuff I’ve tried to highlight below.

Originally 130$. The Tadafusa feels sturdy/robust but remains really thin behind the edge. The integral walnut handle is incredibly comfortable. The cladding line is a little lower on one side but it doesn’t affect cutting. I’ve only used it 3 times and the only major change is that I’ve relieved the choil/spine and that there are a few faint scratches on the kireha I’ve tried to highlight.

Originally 110$ I used the Kohetsu petty to practice mirror polishing which you can tell still needs a bit a work - however my interest in mirror polish faded sooner than my skills caught up, so you can see the remaining vertical factory grinding marks. Great for butchery and currently has a pretty stable patina.

All three sold as a bundle! Thanks for looking KKF and sorry if you were interested in just one or two ~ I should have mentioned that I would prioritize bundling in the post!!
