This is a very recent project that’s taken many hours of my life, that I’m letting go of because I’m poor and recently have gotten the opportunity to get a dream knife. It’s got a nice kasumi finish and freshly polished spine and choil. I slightly thinned it BTE. It also has a nice fragrant cedar handle which I’ve sanded down and refinished so it feels less plasticky. I’ve only used it for test cuts, but feels a little redundant in shape and size with my Toyama.

Specs: 245x54x4mm above heel

Selling below cost @ 699$ USD shipped, 599 if you let me keep the handle.

Hope this piece goes to a good home 🥲 going out for drinks to numb the pain

I can’t say I follow, but thanks.
Blumbo is our local anchorite who locks himself away with a blade, a stone and a tub of water. He does not emerge until the blade is fully and entirely purified. For $600 you can purchase a sacrament. For a Ben extra, you can have it installed in a fragment of the True Cross.

If the new owner decides to move on and would like to sell, please let me know 🙂! I was about to DM as this posted but held out since I wanted to experience the original grind (even though this will likely cut better than stock). Back to the search in the meantime... or at least until Maxim gets more in stock.

(Nice work btw @Blumbo.)
