It's got the Morihei kao, so quite unusual for a migaki finish. How much use and sharpening has the blade seen? I assume thats not the original finish. What did you use to put that horizontal scratch pattern on the blade?

I bought this used. I didn’t inquire how many times it was sharpened or how much it was used. On my end, I only used it once then refinished it. This was all done by hand and no grinder was used.
