In need to free up some cash, gotta let a few knives go.
I would prefer selling to familiar faces lol since I have been out of the game for a while.
Photos will be uploaded tomorrow when I get some better lighting.
The price is firm on both pieces.
1. KATO 240mm Standard, The knife condition is BNIB.
This is my gateway Kato that got me started on the whole journey.
Originally purchased back in 2019, has been on my bookshelf ever since.
The blade itself is covered in Renaissance wax for long-term storage, please make sure you rub it off with white spirit before cooking.
Measurements: 235mm x 51mm
Weight: I don't have a scale
Price: 1350usd shipped CONUS only, PAYPAL FF takes 50usd off
2. Kochi 270mm KU, The knife condition is used.
I purchased this piece on KKF 2 years ago; only touched on stone a few times since I got it.
This is a great lengthy but lightweight gyuto that you can get a lot done but also stay nimble.
I would recommend this knife as a starting piece for people who like/or want to get into 270mm knives. The handle is amount one of my favorites.
The knife as a whole is super light, it feels more like a 255mm knife to me.
I wouldn't recommend this knife to whoever is looking for a kitchen sword that guides your hand to the board. This knife isn't heavy enough for that.
Measurements: See link below, no change since purchasing
