Looking for a new home for this Tsubaya Shiraki Mizu Honyaki Blue 2 Gyuto 240mm. This exquisite blade from Hitohira (2018) , remains in pristine condition, having never been used or sharpened. It comes with custom snakewood handle (worth $175) by kenscustomhandles and ebony Saya.

Do you have any confirmation on if this was made by Shiraki Hamono, or Kenichi Shiraki himself? Generally there is a stamp on the tang indicating one way or another. Kanji on the blade sometimes dictates as well.

I’m not too sure with the stamp on the tang as I wasn’t the first owner and I wouldn’t want to ruin this customized handle. Also I couldn’t find the link from Hitohira for this knife anymore as it has been sold since 2018.

The only possible way I could think of is to check with Hitohira.
