Hi all.

A knife I've never seen before, has popped up on my FB. It's a by af Smith called Kenji Togashi and sharpened by his son Kenya Togashi.

It's in white#1 with stainless clad, and kasumi Finnish. On pictures it look really nice. But also a bit expensive. 420 euro's. Or about the same as a konosuke HD2 where I live.

Anyone knows the Smith and the particular knife. Is it any good?

I have the 210 k tip wide bevel version of this knife. It’s a great blade. Not the best performer in my arsenal, but lovely piece. Very stiff and assertively forward balanced.

One of the most prolific smiths around, specifically known as a master of white 1 and honyaki. Surprised you've been here this long and never ran into his name. Can't go wrong with togashi.
Your right. 😂 A search indicates I must have bin living under a rock
