Been waiting for him to hit the Iron Age for years now, frankly this is the last method I would’ve expected to be pursued, but I’m guessing his land lacks accessible iron ore. It’s a really clever use of the environment. The guy does have nigh infinite patience though, and his channel does give a stark reminder of how hard humans had it before the last few technological revolutions.
