This is from the CKTG drop 2 weeks ago, 1 of 12 people to get one as they sold out in 20 minutes on a Tuesday lol. Well, seems like I'm not in love with it. Used it once to cut some veggies and it was clear, just not the knife for me in my current situation. Would prefer it to be a 210mm as its for home use only and my 240mm collection is big enough. I might try my luck at a Takada No Hamono, Tanaka x Kyuzo, togashi, maybe in a nakiri or bunka. I'm very interested in trades!
I also posted here https://www.kitchenknifeforums.com/threads/kono-fm-handle-placement-question.60269/about the handle being placed a little high. Verdict is, it has 0 influence on the knife and seems to keep it more level.
Bought for $440 + tax = $473. Also bought saya for $35 + tax and shipping = $43. Total cost for me was $516
Selling for $550 OBO. This covers shipping, insurance, and fees. (I'm also heavily considering trades + cash so feel free to pm). Paypal G & S, price would be reduced for F & F but there's obvious "risks".
I can't ship until after work at some point this week. I've sold many knives on r/chefknifeswap so buy/trade with confidence. Sorry it's a long post as I put quite a bit of effort to get this blade and hurts to see it go. Cheers.
