Hey KKF,
I would like to sell this Lucid that I purchased directly from Travis back in Oct 2023. I've spent over 10 hours working the bevels and set good foundation for a decent kasumi. Admittedly someone could definitely clean it up a bit more if they wanted to use a hard finishing stone to bring out all of the detail in the wrought iron. Bevels were shaped with a NSK 200 and I finished it with a maruo suita which seems to be the right level of hardness to work with the bevels in their current state. I have a few more project knives I would like to get to so I've decided to cut this one loose so I can keep the train rolling.
I've owned a several from Lucid and they are all high performing knives for a fantastic price. His wrought iron has a ton of character in it. I decided to leave some of the patina developed while I was polishing but it can easily be removed by pub keepers friend without harming the kasumi.
Asking for what I paid + my hourly rate of 50 cents/hour for the kasumi --> $500 shipped conus (international I'll cover $20)
Thanks for looking!
