I purchased this early this year from @nexus1935 in hopes it might be a taller replacement for my Yoshikane SKD 210. After some side-by-side testing, it's a very worthy contender but the Yoshi remained the favorite. Since I really don't need two Sanjo semi-stainless 210s when I barely reach for that size at all these days, it's going out.

Still in very good condition, has been lightly sharpened on an SP2k but never thinned. Along the lines of Wakui's work, the fit and finish of this line is really impressive for the price point--nice hairline finish, rounded spine and choil, grippy burnt chestnut handle. Would make a fantastic first nice knife, first Sanjo blade, etc.

Edge length: 212mm
Heel height: 53mm
Spine above heel: 3mm
Weight: 161g

Asking $190 shipped CONUS, happy to send to Canada/other US if buyer covers extra shipping costs.

Great knife. I have a Masashi santoku and they are ridiculously good value! Holds its own among Wat, Toyama, Takeda, Yoshi ...

GLWS!
