Very muddy stone. Not necessarily super fast for it's dishing speed. About 4-5k, finer than most aoto. I can't feel the lines. Leaves visible scratches on iron. Great for blending, but soft synths could work well with finer iron. Eventually the stone soaks enough water and doesn't dry up, and the feedback changes to kinda spongey, almost plant like. Edge is like soft aoto but softer less sharp grit. . . probably the most aggressive soft finisher edge I've used. The grit doesn't feel super max abrasive or aggressive, but the matrix is porous so deeper scratches on iron, and it is relatively fast
