This one isn't fun for me, but the personal stuff (divorce) is forcing a sale. I waited over a year for this knife and worked with Chris/Shirogami Knives to order direct from Nenox. Used once, otherwise not touched. I had to try it and can remove the light patina just started. It's got hand chiseled kanji on both sides which is different from the stock knives out of the shop. This is Y.Ikeda forged, White 3 oil quenched which is what was recommended by Nenox as his best work and best balance of edge vs. sharpenability vs. toughness. Shinpei Ino is the sharpener and it's got an incredible convex grind. Nice Ironwood western handle, two pin. Paid just over $1,900 for it. I'd like to get $1,500 for it delivered CONUS, or $1,550 Int'l. Includes box, saya, pin, certificate.
