Fineness: 4.7

Around 1.8kg

A lot of times we get caught up in the beauty of a stone, but it’s important to keep our minds on what’s important and that’s speed and ease of use of the stone.

The fineness of the stone was a little bit harder to rate on this one because it seems to cut out more than it cuts in, so if I wasn’t careful it would look streaky at times.

I would say the feeling of this stone is perfectly in the middle of everything you could possibly want while sharpening, or polishing.

Do you have a stone that does not look so good, but performs incredibly well to the point that you prefer it over better looking stones?

Have you fallen for a good looking stone that didn’t perform as anticipated?
