About equivalent in sharpness and edge feel to iwasaki swedish steel kamisori, having owned both. Closest to iwasaki or all the kamisori I've tried so far. Iwasaki kamisori was a little glassier I think. Box is very old and the box edges have fallen apart, and the tape and cardboard have oxidized. Feels like it's 50 years old or so. Sharpened on a jnat. I think this is the cheapest price for this I've ever seen in the English net.
After more sharpening, edge taking is excellent
