I've been soaking my bester 1200 and suehiro rika 5000 since I purchased them last summer. Can I now allow them to dry then soak/use as needed? I've only been using the 5000 for touch up on a once per week basis. Why keep them soaked all the time, right I'm thinking in terms of longevity of the stones. Thanks

You should be able to do so. Dry them slowly on one side at room temperature. Do not expose to the sun or high heat or temp below 0. This will greatly reduce the risk of racking.

both of those can be soaked and dried as you like... nothing is going to get messed up because of that with these stones

at one point i had to do the same thing and they were fine. its crazy how they dry at different rates
