So I’m visiting my mother and she tells me that she got a knife that is too big for her at a local flea market and she paid a hunky chunk for it. I was shocked at what she purchased….

I have not yet looked it up and I don’t have anything to measure with at her house but this knife is the original WH. Forget your Milan’s, Raquins, catchies and katos. I have found a new work horse, the workhorse…. If anyone is interested make me an offer I can’t refuse….pics to come.

I've seen similar knives used in Japanese restaurants for breaking down tuna. Basically a giant yo-deba, would probably be most useful for butchery work. I can't really think of any other situation I'd want to use a knife like that

But this is a German knife found in galax Virginia, lol.

You could probably reach out to Zwilling and learn the answer. If you found the right person and explained the knife enthusiast angle they’d probably respond.
