Hi all, selling my Shigefusa 210 mm kasumi kamagata usuba. Its a slightly older one, there are some signs of what I believe is very light pitting on the ura, but I might be wrong, whatever it is it's very shallow. I've done a pretty good job at cleaning this up imo, I'm proud of this one, I tried to restore the original finish as well as possible, finished the bevel on a Morihei 9k, so it's got that sweet mirror core with a really nice contrast. I migaki polished the kira and gave the spine/choil a mirror polish. This knife also has some of the best banding I've seen. I haven't glued the handle on yet, see the comment about this, it's a Taihei usuba ho wood handle. Please see the measurements below:

Spine thickness at handle: 5.5 mm
Spine thickness 1/2 way: 3.4 mm
Blade mass: 247 g
Blade + handle mass: 291 g

A: that’s a Kamagata Usuba and
B: Usuba are measured from the machi, so 225 is correct.

Pictures with handle uploaded. I'm gonna give the buyer the choice of what they wanna do with the handle, currently it's burnt on so that it fits comfortably with a machi gap, hasn't been glued yet. If the buyer wants I'll burn it all the way on so that the machi and the handle are flush and then glue it.
