Hey folks. Downsizing, selling a nice knife that has been used only a couple of times, sharpened once so I could feel the steel. Rhyming. I am first owner, procured (with some help!) via Bernal Cutlery. Includes saya.
In use, both the core steel and cladding are very slow to react. Almost acting semi-stainless to me, but nonetheless are reactive. I find it a nice profile and grind. 50/50 grind suitable to lefty/righty users. Good convexity and not so thin that it feels fragile - better food release than thinner laser stuff but not heavy as specs indicate below. Ebony and horn handle, classic dark on dark. Love the Super Blue from Tanaka!
It's a sister to the one sold here:

Asking $525 CONUS, $550 Int'l.
