Hi all, selling this Seiko SPBY165 solar chronograph complete with box and certificate, asking $200 shipped CONUS.
The SPBY165 is a Japan-exclusive solar quartz release from Seiko going for ~$250 new. Very smooth sweep on the chonograph seconds hand (see video). The movement is V175 solar-powered quartz. Case size 42.2mm, thickness 12.2mm, lug width 20mm, water resistance 100m, lumibrite lume, and sapphire crystal with "super clear coating" (it looks like there's no crystal at all).
Purchased new this past April from Chrono24, worn on and off since then, has a few superficial scratches on the sides and a few more noticable ones on the case back but otherwise looking and working like new. I always wore it on a strap so the bracelet has never seen the outdoors. Selling to downsize my watch collection, because even though I have way too many knives, there's still hope in the watch world for me.
Gonna post this to r/watchexchange eventually but wanted to give y'all a head start. I'll also throw in a free unworn one-piece leather strap from Strapsco, just for you guys
