A few years ago, Jon Broida took a couple of ZKramers of mine, thinned them significantly and turned them into phenomenal knives. A few other folks had similar experiences. It seems like his sharpening services are on an extended hiatus. Is there anyone out there now who could provide similar services?

Thanks,
Tim

Ryan at District Cutlery is definitely taking thinning work, and I think the price is pretty fair. He does it on a belt, but uses a deft hand from what I’ve seen. A problem for me on clad knives because they come out with very little contrast, but for a zKramer, that shouldn’t be any worry.
