This is a bnib Shiro Kamo r2/sg2 240mm gyuto with a black damascus cladding. I'm not sure if it's nickel layering in the cladding, but there's a layer that gives a shine contrast to the more subdued black finish.

244 x 54.9mm
R2/sg2 steel @ 63hrc
205g
Spine 3.9mm out of the handle 3.2mm above the heel, 1.8mm mid, 1.2mm ~1" from tip
Wenge and buffalo horn ferrule that has a nice subdued blonde ripple on each side
Has a nail flexing edge and convex grind.

One of my early bling knives was one of these I bought from Knives and Stones AU several years ago. I bought this along with a Hatsukokoro knife for a family member to choose from and they went with the very lasery Hatsukokoro. I like this better than my original one, but I figure this one is brand new so it's the one to go. Asking $275.00 shipped CONUS. Hit me up about discounts if you're interested in anything else I have listed.

Oops, the middle pictures is not the knife in question and the result of being treated like a jungle gym by my daughter while trying to post this.
Whose is that careless, coreless, and how does it cut?
