Thought I’d liven things up in here.



Specs:

• 255 x 55.5 mm
• 5mm spine at handle
• 230g
• Mono walnut handle with brass pin

When I first received this knife there was a bit of wonkiness in the bevels, but I sent it back to Simon who worked out any overgrind (taking the knife from 57mm to its current heel height of 55.5mm) and got it in good shape.

This is one for those who like a big flat spot, it’s great. I’ve sharpened it once with a Washita since it was worked on by Simon, I haven’t done any polishing.

I’m speculatively putting this up for trade as I now have 3x Maillet knives and want to see what I can rummage up from BST. I’m not interested in a straight sale unless you want to pay distastefully over the odds, so please don’t ask!

Interested mainly in knives by Nine, Yannick and some of Milan’s KU stuff, but I’ll entertain anything cool.
